October has arrived and it's time for all the fun fall activities - including haunted halowe'en activities, for those that enjoy a scare!!

Canada's Wonderland - Hallowe'en Haunt
weekends only from Sept 27th to Nov 2nd
Get your fright on this fall, when Halloween Haunt returns to Canada's Wonderland! The theme park transforms into a scream park filled with Halloween attractions that offer unforgettable thrills and unspeakable horror. But not to worry - if you prefer not to be scared - you can sport a designated necklace to keep you safe from the creepy crawlers lurking around.
Immerse yourself in the nightmare of Haunt, with seven terrifying scare zones, hundreds of monsters, thrilling night rides, amazing live entertainment and six mazes including the new Demons of the Deep where you’ll discover horrifying creatures lurking in a deserted underwater lab.

Brawley Woods Haunted Hallowe'en Walk
October 11 to 13, 18 to 20, and 25 to 27
1320 Brawley Road West, Whitby
This haunted walk takes place in a real forest and features movie production props, some of the biggest animatronics in North America, and the most animatronics in one single haunt.
Are you ready to face your fears this hallowe'en season? Or, will you be the one who takes the chicken lane exit?
This is a cash only venue.
Clarington's Firehouse Fright Night
Oct 18 &19, and 25 & 26
Watson Farms, Bowmanville
Back for it's 3rd year, this huge maze is an interactive, story-driven trail is a 30-minute journey, become the focus of dozens of creatures spread across more than 20 heart-pounding scenes. Navigate your way through the maze and see if you can survive their series of scares!

Whitby Ghost Walks
Oct 18, 21-23 and 25

Downtown Whitby has an interesting history of vivid ghost stories! Join the Town of Whitby for a ghost walk and listen to some spine-tingling, spooky stories from your guide, as well as re-enactments live in person by Beech Street Theatre Company!
Please note, this is a guided walking tour and will have participants walking 2.6 km to nine sites throughout downtown Whitby. This is not recommended for children under the age of 13, as some stories may be sensitive in nature.
Ghost walks take place at 8:30 p.m. and are reserved for participants 18 years of age or older.

Explore the Pickering Museum Village by lantern-light —a spine-tingling tour that will turn even the toughest cynic into a believer of the supernatural! Learn about the paranormal investigations that have taken place on site, hear the museum’s most infamous staff stories, and uncover the tragedies that have occurred in Pickering’ past.
Tours are approximately one hour in length and registration is required. Guests must be ages 12 and up.
